CMI Plastics is pleased to announce our 60,000 square foot expansion to our Ayden, NC facility. This addition furthers our goal for complete vertical integration and creates a more robust recycling program to further our circular vision and support CMI’s continued growth. This expansion strengthens logistics, tooling, and manufacturing while ensuring our consistent high-quality as well as the highest level of service for our partners. This expansion will increase the Ayden facility to a total of 130,000 square feet with space for future expansion. CMI Plastics, Inc. (a division of Consolidated Models, Inc.) was founded in 1939. The family owned and operated business relocated its operations to Ayden, NC in 2007. CMI is a world-class ISO 9001 certified manufacturing company. The current facility utilizes 14 high-speed inline thermoforming machines with robotic automation.
